THANK YOU to all you lovely people who responded to open their hearts and homes to Poppy. He was officially adopted by his foster family as he was a great "fit" for them during the flurry of inquiries. RED ALERT!! We are a kill shelter and Poppy's time has been up but he is a lovely dog. He will no longer be with us unless we can get an approved adoptive home or foster home so please contact us for the simple form we ask to be filled out and meet this wonderful dog. Poppy is a very large puppy that is approximately eight months old. He loves to play with other dogs and goes to the park with kennel staff, enjoying the car ride there. He is a great all around dog -- loves hiking, hanging with his people, playful yet respectful. We can touch him all over -- hugs are fine and he gives back kisses. Come meet Poppy and see if he is your new companion!
